Harry dies on the courtyard at the end of his fourth year, but nobody knows it. All thinking, Voldemort has missed his targets. Harry returns to Hogwarts with an unconscious Cedric and with a warning from DEATH himself. In the next few month, Harry finds out many secrets what changes his opinion of many people, is changing in body and mind. He hears of Severus Snapes disappearance and later of his dead, killed by Voldemort.
Two years later, as Voldemort attacks the ministry, Harry decides to take the chance and goes to Slytherin manner to kill a snake. Then he found his target in one of the rooms, but it wasn’t the snake what let Harry freezing on his spot. There, lying on a bed, he saw no other than his old Potions Professor, Severus Snape, with a little toddler on his chest, both sleeping and Nagini curled up around them.

This is a reader/Severus Snape story. The reader is not described in any way nor given a house. The style is meant to be conversational as if the reader is telling us her thoughts on the happenings at hand. Takes place before Harry comes to Hogwarts. Reader is 17 at the beginning.
I have several chapters written and plan to edit them and post them as they are ready. This is really a passion project I wrote for myself, but it’s my first time posting fan-fiction as an adult and I’d love to hear from readers.

It's not fair, Wilbur acknowledges internally, how he hurt Tommy. How he keeps hurting Tommy. How right now, he's sitting by and allowing his little brother get hurt yet again.
But wouldn't giving someone hope of change be worse?
An apology would mean admitting what he did wrong. An apology would mean promising to do better for Tommy's sake if not his own. And Wilbur isn't entirely sure that he can change, or that he even wants to for that matter.

Dick starts with making sure Jason never dies at the hands of the Joker and proceeds to track down and love his siblings (while maybe also plotting the destruction of the League of Assassins). He just doesn't realize that a clan of highly trained vigilantes are more than capable of realizing that Dick is not okay, and of returning his devotion with their own.
